       SKYKLEEN 1000 Presaturated Wipes

SkyKleen 1000 Aviation Solvent saturated wipes combines excellent cleaning performance with environmentally friendly characteristics. It is inherently biodegradable, non-halogenated, non-ozone depleting, minimizes VOC emissions and is classified as non-hazardous waste per RCRA.

SkyKleen is also easy to work with because it has low odor, does not adversely affect metals, leaves no residue, evaporates slowly, is non-combustible and non-caustic

       Applications include:

• Effective product for the removal of high temperature sealants, such as RTV sealant, PR1422 Polysulfide and most other sealants used on aircraft.


• Final Cleaning prior to Painting and Bonding - meets the requirements of Boeing's BAC 5750 Process Specification for final cleaning-prepaint of solvent-resistant finishes and final cleaning-prebond


• Engine Cleaning - has been extensively tested for compatibility with the metallurgy commonly used around aircraft engines. It is approved and listed by GE Aircraft Engines (Hand-Wipe Degreasing Procedure 70-21-23).


• Carbon Epoxy Composite Surface Cleaning - Fully cured epoxy is not affected by SkyKleen 1000. Effective surface cleaning is accomplished by wiping with a dampened cloth. For heavily soiled areas, soak the area with SkyKleen or lay a dampened cloth onto the spot and allow some time for the SkyKleen 1000 to penetrate and soften.


• Fiberglass Resin Removal - is an effective solvent for softening partial cured epoxy resins used in fiberglass manufacture and fabrication. Use SkyKleen 1000 on a cloth for spot-cleaning excess resin from surfaces, carpets and tools.


• Adhesive/Epoxy Removal - Adhesive residues from various tapes, decals and labels can be easily removed. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly before painting or applying sealant.


• Degreasing - is an excellent product for removing all types of greases, oils, and lubricants (including powdered lubricants).

       SkyKleen replaces many of the common solvents/cleaners that have environmental or safety concerns:

Can be used to replace MEK, Acetone, Isopropyl Alcohol, Freon , 1-1-1 Trichloroethane, Caustic cleaners, Stoddard solvent, Mineral Spirits, D-limonene based "Citrus" cleaners, Aerosol Cleaner
