Teamwork and preparation are the keys to winning results in automotive refinish. When you team up with the DuPont™ Sontara® surface preparation system, you’ve got the right wiping product for every stage of the refinish process. The unique
hydroentangling process from DuPont uses thousands of high-pressure, needle-like jets of water to entangle the fibers into a Sontara® fabric that’s strong and low-linting, and reducing sources of lint or loose fibers can minimize the potential for paint defects. With Sontara®, you get great performance from start to finish.

     Application

DuPont™ Sontara® wipes help you get the job done right the first time without costly rework that can cut into your shop’s profits and productivity. For example, the Final Tack Cloth is used with water-borne paint systems because of its low tack level which does not leave residue on hands or surfaces. Compared to typical paper cloths, the Final Tack Cloth will shed less fibers resulting in a cleaner job with less potential for paint defects. Great for wiping the surface dry with Sontara Final Tack Cloth and lifting contaminants, dust, loose fibers prior to any painting jobs.
